Welcome! When describing your hometown or your belongings, adjectives bring your stories to life. Today, we are going to look at basic describing words and possessive adjectives so you can talk about your favorite things and our beautiful culture. Vocabulary List: My (Possessive) - Belonging to or associated with the speaker. Your (Possessive) - Belonging to or associated with the person being spoken to. Our (Possessive) - Belonging to or associated with the speaker and one or more other people. Beautiful (Basic) - Pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. Delicious (Basic) - Highly pleasant to the taste. Ancient (Basic) - Belonging to the very distant past and no longer in existence. Common Mistake In English, possessive adjectives (like "my" or "your") always come before the noun. Also, they do not change if you have more than one item.
