B1 Challenge: Welcome to your intermediate grammar review! When writing detailed reports or sending professional emails, you must combine tenses smoothly. We don't just use simple sentences anymore. Today, we will review the key joining words that trigger complex tenses so your stories flow perfectly. Key Structures: Already (Present Perfect) - Used to show an action happened sooner than expected. While (Past Continuous) - Used to connect a long, ongoing action in the past with a shorter interruption. Although (Contrast) - Used to connect two contrasting ideas in one complex sentence. Unless (Condition) - Used to mean "if not" in conditional sentences. Professional Tip When telling a story, remember to set your main time frame.
