Welcome back! In this lesson, we will cover one of the most fundamental building blocks of English grammar: Personal Pronouns . When you are writing emails or speaking with guests, repeating the same names over and over can sound robotic. Personal pronouns act as shortcut words. They replace nouns so our English sounds natural and flows better. Let's master the essential subject pronouns. Vocabulary List: I - The person speaking. You - The person or people being spoken to. He - A male person being spoken about. She - A female person being spoken about. It - A thing, place, idea, or animal being spoken about. We - The speaker and one or more other people. They - Other people, animals, or things being spoken about. Common Mistake: Dropping the Subject In some languages, you can drop the subject completely if it's understood from the context.
