We use "wish" when it is IMPOSSIBLE or the opposite of reality (you already failed, and now you regret it). So "I hope" is positive thinking, but "I wish" is a regret! đ

Yes, Vireak! We use "wish + would" when we are annoyed about a present situation and want someone (or something, like the rain) to change their behavior. But remember, for the PAST, you must stick to Past Perfect! đ§️
