Sending a Package

Lesson Goal: Learn how to listen for and understand service options, prices, and logistics vocabulary at a post office.

Understanding Options

When you go to a post office or a delivery company, the clerk will ask you several questions about your package. You need to listen closely to understand your options.

The most important details to listen for are speed and cost. They will usually give you a choice between an express service (which is fast but expensive) and a standard service (which is slower but cheaper). They might also ask if you want extra security, like insurance.

Go to the next card to learn the logistics vocabulary, then listen to the conversation at the post office in the Listen tab!
