The Grammar Lab: Present Simple
When do we use it?
We use the Present Simple for Facts and Habits (things we do every day).
🔹 Habits: I drink coffee every morning. (ទម្លាប់)
🔹 Facts: The sun rises in the East. (ការពិត)

The "S" Rule
For He, She, It (3rd Person Singular), you must add -s or -es to the verb.
| I / You / We / They | work |
| He / She / It | works |
| កុំភ្លេចថែម S សម្រាប់គាត់/នាង | |
Negative
To say "No", use a helper verb. Remember: After Doesn't, the main verb loses the 's'.
| I / You / We | don't work |
| He / She | doesn't work |
| Doesn't + Verb (No S) | |
Questions
Put the helper verb at the start.
| Do you work? | តើអ្នក...? |
