We use this tense for actions happening right now or temporary situations.

បច្ចុប្បន្នកាលកំពុងបន្ត ប្រើសម្រាប់សកម្មភាពដែលកំពុងកើតឡើងនៅពេលកំពុងនិយាយ។

Spelling Rules ✍️

Rule 1: Drop the 'E'

Rule 2: Double the Consonant (C-V-C)

Great question, Sokha! "Understand" is a **Stative Verb** (បញ្ជាក់ពីសភាពនៃគំនិត). You either understand it, or you don't. It is not an action you are actively "doing" with your body. So, we just say "I understand." 🧠💡

No, Vireak! That is a special exception to the C-V-C rule. Letters **W, X, and Y** are never doubled at the end of a word. It is simply "playing"! ⚽
