What is it?
The Present Perfect connects the past to the present. We use it for life experiences, recent news, or actions that started in the past and continue today.
Subject + HAVE/HAS + V3 (Past Participle)
ចំណាំ៖ V3 is the 3rd form of the verb (e.g., Go → Went → Gone).
Life Experience
Things you have done in your life (time is not important).
| I have been to Japan. | ធ្លាប់ទៅ |
| She has eaten snake. | ធ្លាប់ញ៉ាំ |
| We have never seen snow. | មិនដែលឃើញ |
Duration
Started in the past and is still true now.
| He has lived here for 10 years. | ចំនួន ១០ឆ្នាំ |
| I have known her since 2015. | តាំងពីឆ្នាំ ២០១៥ |
| They have been married for a long time. | ជាយូរមកហើយ |
Recent Result
Happened recently and the result is important now.
| I have just finished my work. | ទើបតែចប់ |
