Noun Types

Can you count it? Some nouns can be counted (1, 2, 3...), but others like liquids, powders, and ideas cannot be counted directly.

Things you can count separately. You can use A/An or Numbers, and they have plural forms (s/es).

Things viewed as a whole mass (liquids, grains, concepts). No "A/An". Always use a singular verb.

Hi Piseth! This is a very common trap! Think about it like this: You can say "I have one dollar, two dollars, three dollars." (Dollar = Countable). But you cannot say "I have one money, two moneys." Money is the *idea* of wealth, so we treat the word itself as uncountable in English grammar. ⭐
