Form Completion
Lesson Goal: Learn to listen for formal vocabulary used by receptionists, doctors, and officials when updating personal records.
Official Language
When you go to a hospital, a bank, or a government office, the staff will use very specific, formal vocabulary to ask about your life.
For example, they usually won't ask "What is your job?". Instead, they will ask for your Occupation. They won't ask "Are you married?". They will ask for your Marital Status. Knowing these formal words will make filling out forms and answering questions much easier!
Go to the next card to review the vocabulary, then listen to the conversation at the doctor's clinic in the Listen tab!
