Renewable Energy

Lesson Goal: Learn how to listen to academic interviews and identify main arguments and specific examples.

Listening to Experts

When you listen to news programs or academic podcasts, you will often hear interviews with "Experts". These experts will usually state a big problem, and then offer specific solutions.

In this lesson, the expert is discussing the problem of fossil fuels (like coal and oil) and the need for sustainable energy. While listening, your job is to identify which specific technologies the expert recommends, and why they are a good financial choice.
