When people discuss news, culture, or technology, they are often sharing their opinions. They might agree or disagree with each other.
To understand a debate, listen closely for contrasting words like "but" or "however". Also, pay attention to emotion words. If someone uses words like "terrifying" or "worried", they have a negative view. If they use words like "benefits" or "creative", they have a positive view.
