Project Chronos
Narrative Comprehension & Inference Skills.
Reading Between the Lines
Sometimes when you read an article or a report, you won't understand every single word. In official government or military documents, information is sometimes deliberately hidden or redacted.
When this happens, you must use inference (guessing based on evidence). Look at the words *around* the black bars to understand the context. Is it a name? A place? A number?
Go to the next tab to learn the field vocabulary, then practice your skills by reading the Declassified Report in the Practice tab!

Danger Words ⚠️
SUBJECT: Field Test of Temporal Displacement.
At 01:20 AM, the DeLorean car (Prototype-1) was positioned at the starting line. The objective was to reach a critical velocity of 88 MPH to activate the Flux Capacitor.
OBSERVATION:
Upon reaching velocity, the vehicle vanished in a flash of blue light, leaving behind two trails of fire on the asphalt. The test subject (a dog named Einstein) successfully traveled exactly one minute into the future.
HAZARD REPORT:
The experiment requires 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity. This power was generated using stolen Plutonium. Radiation levels are currently stable, but containment is required immediately.
CONCLUSION: Time travel is possible.
