Lesson 02: Calendar Logic

📅 Reading Lab
Scheduling
Lesson Goal: Learn how to find dates, times, and important details quickly on schedules and calendars.

What is Schedule Scanning?

When you read a story, you read every single word from the beginning to the end. But when you look at a calendar, a meeting invite, or an event schedule, you don't read like that!

Instead, you use a skill called scanning. Your eyes jump around the document looking for specific numbers, times, or keywords. For example, if your boss asks, "When is the meeting?", you don't read the whole email; your eyes immediately look for numbers like 2:00 PM or words like Time and Location.

Go to the next tab to learn the vocabulary, then test your scanning skills in the Practice tab!
