How to Describe People
We use two main structures to describe people. We use adjectives (describing words) to give more detail.
1. Describing Appearance (រូបរាង)
We use is / are for general appearance and has / have for specific features.
Subject + is/are + [Adjective]
- He is tall.
- They are young.
Subject + has/have + [Adjective + Noun]
- She has long hair.
- He has brown eyes.
2. Describing Personality (បុគ្គលិកលក្ខណៈ)
We almost always use is / are to describe what a person is like.
Subject + is/are + [Adjective]
- He is friendly.
- My teacher is kind.
- They are funny.
- She is very smart.
Writing Model: From Simple to Good
Don't write one simple sentence. Connect your ideas with "and" to create a good, flowing paragraph.

This is Sothy. He is tall. He has black hair. He is friendly. He is smart.
GOOD (A2) ✨
