The FANBOYS Rule

Hi Sovan! No! You ONLY use a comma before 'and' if it connects two complete sentences. If there is no new subject after 'and', do NOT use a comma. Remember the Trap! ⚠️

What does "For" mean as a conjunction?

Good question! When used to link two sentences, "for" means exactly the same thing as "because". It is just very formal and mostly used in academic writing or literature. (e.g., I drank water, for I was thirsty.) 📖
