Hi Vireak! That is a great question. "Roof" is an exception to the rule! It just takes an 's' to become "roofs". English has a few of these sneaky exceptions. 🏠

"People" is the standard plural you should use every day! "Persons" is technically a word, but it is only used in very formal legal language or police reports. 👮‍♂️

No! Look closely at the word "Monkey". It ends in a vowel (e) + y. Because of that vowel, we follow the "Just add S" rule: Monkeys! 🐒
