✨ Task: Introduce Yourself, Family & Routine
Welcome to our final A1 review task1! In this activity, you will use all the grammar we have learned to write a short paragraph2 to introduce3 yourself.
There is no new grammar today. This is your chance to practice and show what you know! We will look at a model paragraph first, then you will write your own.
Part 1: The Writing Task
Your task is to write one paragraph that includes three parts:
- Introduce Yourself: Your name, where you are from, your job or role (e.g., student).
- Introduce a Family Member: Their name, their job, and something they do.
- Describe Your Routine4: One or two things you do regularly.
Part 2: A Model Paragraph
Here is an example5 to help you. Read it carefully to see how the sentences are built.
My name is Dara, and I am a student. I live in Kampot province. I am happy to learn English. My father's name is Piseth. He is a fisherman. He works on a big boat on the sea. Every morning, I go to school. I always do my homework in the evening.
Part 3: Your Turn to Write!
Now, it's your turn. Use the space below to write your own paragraph. Before you start, look at this checklist to help you.
- Did I use capital letters for names, places, 'I', and the start of sentences?
- Did I use a full stop ( . ) at the end of each statement?
- Did I use 'am', 'is', and 'are' correctly?
- Did I use '-s' on action verbs for 'he' and 'she'?
