Connectors
Connectors are like glue. They join two short ideas together to make one longer, better sentence!
1. Using "And"
2. Using "But"
3. "So" & "Because"
Don't mix up the reason and the result!
I was hungry, so I ate dinner. check

Yes, you can! "Because I was tired, I went to sleep." However, you must make sure the sentence has both parts (the cause AND the effect). You cannot just write: "Because I was tired." as a full sentence. For level A2, it's safer to keep "because" in the middle! 😉
Do I always need a comma before "and"?
Not always! If you are just joining two words (apples and bananas), no comma. You only use a comma if you are joining two FULL sentences (I like apples, and he likes bananas). But don't worry too much about the comma right now, focus on the meaning! star
