When you scan, you don't read every word. You let your eyes jump quickly to find what you want!

How to Scan visibility

Step 1: Know the question. ដឹងថាសំណួរសួររកអ្វី (ឧទាហរណ៍៖ រកចំនួនសត្វឆ្កែ)

Step 2: Move eyes fast. រេភ្នែកអានលឿនៗ ពីឆ្វេងទៅស្តាំ ពីលើចុះក្រោម។

Step 3: Stop when you see it. ឈប់អានភ្លាម ពេលភ្នែកអ្នកប៉ះលើតួលេខ (1, 2, 3...)។

Hi Sokha! No, they are different! Reading is slow and you want to understand everything. Scanning is very fast, like looking for a friend in a big crowd. You only stop when you find the number! directions_run

That happens a lot! Try to force your eyes to look for the SHAPE of the numbers (like 2, 5, 8). They look totally different from letters. If you see a word you don't know, just jump over it! skip_next

Are words like "One" and "Two" considered numbers when scanning?

Yes! They are number words. Sometimes writers use digits (1, 2, 3), and sometimes they use words (one, two, three). You have to scan for both! search
