How to Scan a Picture Caption
- Look at the picture first. What do you see?
- Know your target word. Think, "I am looking for a color."
- Scan the caption. Move your eyes quickly over the words to find your target.
Example 1: Find an Object
Task: What is this iconic vehicle called? Scan the caption to find its name.
A driver waits in his tuk-tuk in Kampot city. Many tourists use this to see the town.
