Reading for Detail

Do not read every word! Scan the text to find the Who, What, Where, and When.

No, Sovan! That is the secret to reading for detail. If the question asks "Where?", just let your eyes quickly scan for a place name or a location word like "in", "at", or "near". Ignore the words you don't know! travel_explore

Use context clues! Look at the words around it. Also, remember that writers often use synonyms (words with the same meaning). If the question says "small", the text might say "tiny". Keep looking! visibility
