We use can and have to when we talk about rules and possibilities. These are very important in first aid!

3. Reading: A Busy Day in Kampot
Dara is a pepper farmer in Kampot. It is a hot, sunny day, and he is working very hard in the garden. Suddenly, his knife slips, and he gets a small cut on his left hand. "Ouch!" he says.
Nita, a local guesthouse owner, is visiting his farm today. She wants to buy fresh Kampot pepper for her restaurant kitchen. She sees Dara's hand.
"Oh no, Dara!" Nita says. "You have to clean that cut right away. I can help you."
Nita knows first aid basics. She opens her bag. "I always carry a small first aid kit," she explains. "First, we have to wash your hand with clean water." Dara washes his hand carefully.
Nita takes out a small plaster. "You can put this plaster over the cut to keep it safe. You really have to be careful with sharp knives!"
Dara smiles and says, "Thank you, Nita. Normally, I go to the pharmacy to buy medicine, but this is a very small cut. I don't have to see a doctor. I can just rest for a few minutes before I start again."
Nita nods. "Yes, you can rest. Pepper farming is hard work!"
