Summarizing: Extracting only the primary thesis of a long text and omitting minor supporting details. Problem-Solution Framework: Organizing a paragraph by stating a systemic issue and proposing actionable, logically linked solutions. Syntactic Trap: Patchwriting and Plagiarism A frequent error is "patchwriting"—taking a source sentence and simply changing one or two words using a thesaurus.
