Lesson 5: Essential Action Verbs & Question Words
Welcome back! I am Teacher Sopheak, and today we will learn how to ask questions and describe daily actions. In this beginner vocabulary lesson, you will learn high-frequency action verbs and essential question words. We will also focus on correcting a common mistake: putting question words at the end of the sentence instead of the beginning. Vocabulary List: Go (Action Verb) - To move to a place. Eat (Action Verb) - To put food in the mouth and swallow. What (Question Word) - Asking for information about something. Where (Question Word) - Asking in or to what place. Common Mistake: Question Word Order In some languages, the question word often comes at the end. In English, the "Wh-" question word must come at the beginning of the sentence!
