Color

Red /rɛd/ A bright color like fire or an apple.

Example: She likes to wear a red dress to the party.

Color

Blue /bluː/ The color of the clear sky or the ocean.

Example: The sky is very blue today.

Size

Big /bɪɡ/ Large in size; not small.

Example: Angkor Wat is a very big temple.

Size

Small /smɔːl/ Tiny in size; little.

Example: I ordered a small coffee.

Feeling

Happy /ˈhæpi/ Feeling joy or pleasure.

Example: I am happy to meet you.

Tired /ˈtaɪərd/ Needing sleep or rest.

Example: He is tired after a long day of work.

warning Watch Out: Adjective Order!

In English, the adjective comes before the noun.

Many languages (like Khmer and Spanish) put the noun first. Do not make this mistake in English!
