Today, we will learn how to use the Advanced Passive to sound objective and professional (e.g., "It is believed that..."). We will also cover the Subjunctive Mood to express strong recommendations or strict requirements (e.g., "It is essential that staff be punctual"). Let's elevate your professional English.

When using the Subjunctive mood, we drop the "s" for third-person singular and use the pure base verb. For example, say "The manager insists that she arrive early" (NOT "arrives"). If using the verb "to be", we just use "be": "It is crucial that he be polite."
