Welcome! When English learners discuss the world around them, they often want to describe which thing is better, worse, or the absolute best. This requires knowing how to use comparative and superlative adjectives. Today, we are going to learn how to compare two things, and how to describe the "number one" thing in a group using English spelling rules. Vocabulary List: Tall / Taller / Tallest - Used to describe height. Add -er for two things, and -est for three or more. Hot / Hotter / Hottest - Having a high degree of heat. Note: Double the 't' before adding the ending. Beautiful / More beautiful / Most beautiful - Since this word has three syllables, we use more and most. Delicious / More delicious / Most delicious - Used for tasting great. Use more and most for this long word. Good / Better / Best - An irregular adjective.
