Your Task:
Think of a vivid memory from when you were young. It could be a family trip, a rainy day, a favorite toy, or a funny accident. Write a descriptive paragraph about it.
Try to include sensory details to make your writing come alive:
- How old were you, and who was with you?
- What could you see, hear, or smell?
- How did you feel then, and how do you feel looking back?
Title: The Great Mud Incident
When I was eight years old, my family went to the river during the Water Festival. I vividly remember the sweet smell of roasted corn and the loud sound of children laughing everywhere. I was trying to catch a small silver fish with my bare hands, but out of nowhere, I slipped and fell face-first into the thick mud. My older brother laughed so hard he cried. I was embarrassed at first, but looking back, it is one of my most nostalgic and unforgettable memories. Even now, whenever I smell roasted corn, I think of that sunny afternoon.
