Hi Sokha! Both are correct! "A hundred" is more common in casual speaking, while "One hundred" is more precise and formal. The same rule applies to "A thousand" vs "One thousand". 💯
Why do we say "Hundreds of people" with an 's', but "Two hundred people" without an 's'?
This is a classic trap! If you give an EXACT number (two, five, ten), "hundred/thousand/million" does NOT take an 's'. (e.g. Five million dollars). If you are talking about an UNKNOWN large amount, you add the 's' and "of" (e.g. Millions of dollars). 💸
Teacher, do I say "One hundred" or "A hundred"?
