Lesson 46: Market Trends (Financial Analysis)

📈 Finance Lab
Scanning

Market Trends

Scanning stock charts and personal budgets.

Lesson Goal: Learn to read visual data quickly to understand financial movements and expenditure.

Reading the Numbers

In business and daily life, we don't always read paragraphs of text. Often, information is presented in Charts and Graphs.

To understand financial data, use scanning to identify the highest points (peaks), the lowest points, and sudden changes (volatile movements). In a bar chart, you look for the tallest bar. In a pie chart, you look for the largest slice to see where the majority of the budget goes.
