Research Abstract
Mission: Read the summary of a scientific study on sleep and memory. Identify the main idea (Hypothesis), how the test was done (Methodology), and the final result (Conclusion).
Objective: This study investigated the hypothesis that 8 hours of sleep improves exam performance compared to 4 hours.
Methods: A controlled experiment was conducted with 100 participants. The subjects were divided into two groups. Group A slept for 8 hours, while Group B slept for 4 hours. Both groups were then given a memory test.
Results: The data revealed that Group A scored 40% higher than Group B.
Conclusion: These findings suggest a strong correlation between adequate rest and cognitive function. Therefore, students are advised to prioritize sleep before exams.
