Opening a Bank Account
Learning financial vocabulary and requirements.
Lesson Goal: Learn how to listen carefully for specific financial requirements like account types, ID, and money amounts.
Listening at the Bank
When you visit a bank, you need to understand specific financial terms. Bank tellers will ask you for documents and explain rules using numbers.
You must listen carefully for keywords like deposit, account, and interest rate. The teller will also ask you to make choices, such as choosing between a Checking Account (for daily spending) and a Savings Account.
