Good question, Sokha! Generally, Cambodians don't have middle names in the same way Westerners do. If a form requires it, you can leave it blank or write "N/A" (Not Applicable). If your given name has two words, put both in the "First Name" box. 🖊️
If the form says MM/DD/YYYY, what should I write for April 15?
"MM" means Month, "DD" means Day, and "YYYY" means Year. So for April 15, you write: 04/15/YYYY. (This is the American format). If it says DD/MM/YYYY, write 15/04/YYYY! 📅
What does "N/A" mean? I see it on forms sometimes.
"N/A" stands for "Not Applicable". It means the question does not apply to you. For example, if a form asks for a "Home Phone Number" but you only have a mobile phone, you can write "N/A" in the home phone box! ☎️
