The Double Past
We use the Past Perfect when we are talking about the past, and we want to refer to an action that happened EVEN EARLIER.
build The Formula
Subject + had + V3 (Past Participle)
"Had" is used for ALL subjects! (I, You, We, They, He, She, It)
I had finished my homework.

Action 1 (First) = Past Perfect.
Action 2 (Second) = Past Simple.
