How to Use 'And'
The word 'and' is a conjunction, which is a word that connects ideas. We use 'and' to add one thing to another thing. It is one of the most useful words in English!
Use 'and' to join two or more things, people, or places.
Example: I like fish and rice.
Use 'and' to join two or more describing words.
Example: The weather is hot and sunny.
Use 'and' to join two actions or short sentences.
Example: I wake up and drink coffee.
