Wishes vs. Hopes
We use Wish for things we want but are impossible or unlikely right now. We use Hope for things that are very possible in the future!
I wish / If only + Past Simple 💭
I wish + would + verb 😤
I hope + Present/Future ✨
Do not use "Wish" for things you want to happen in the future if they are possible!
