Tips for Using Your New Words
🗣️ Pronunciation Focus: Word Stress (Days)
For the days of the week, the stress is usually on the first part (syllable). The beat is DUM-da or DUM-da-da. Click 🔊 to hear:

💡 Building Descriptive Phrases
You can combine these words to make your sentences more detailed.
Pattern 1: Number + Color + Object
When you use a number and a color to describe something, the order is: Number, then Color, then the Object.
- I have two red pens.
- She sees five white cows.
- He wants one yellow banana.
Pattern 2: "...on [Day]"
To say you do something on a specific day, use the word on before the day.
- I play football on Sunday.
- We have English class on Monday and Wednesday.
- She goes to the market on Friday.
Practice Your Vocabulary 🎯
Activity 1: I Spy (Colors)
Play a game with a partner or practice by yourself. Look around the room and secretly choose an object. Say, "I spy with my little eye, something that is [color]." Your partner guesses, or you say the object name.
Example: You say: "I spy with my little eye, something that is white." Partner guesses: "Is it the wall?" You say: "Yes!"
