Teacher, I get nervous and speak too fast. How do I slow down?
Great question, Vireak! A great trick is to physically mark your script. Draw a single slash (/) for a short breath at commas, and a double slash (//) for a full stop at periods. Force yourself to pause when you see them. Eventually, it becomes muscle memory!
Should I copy Steve Jobs or Barack Obama's style?
Analyze them, but don't clone them! Take their techniques (like Obama's rhythmic pauses or Jobs' incredible simplicity) and blend them with your own personality. If you are naturally energetic, be energetic. If you are naturally calm, be profoundly calm. auto_awesome
