Learn to "Think on your feet". Don't panic; use a framework (PREP) to structure your thoughts instantly.

💬 Scenario: The Surprise Question

Boss "Sophea, quick update. What is the status of the new marketing plan?"
You (Unstructured) "Um... well... it's good... we are working on the design... and uh... the budget is okay... so yeah."
You (Structured PREP)
POINT "The marketing plan is on track for launch next week."
REASON "This is because we successfully finalized the design phase yesterday."
EXAMPLE "For instance, the social media assets are already approved and scheduled."
POINT "So, we are confident in hitting the Monday deadline."

The P.R.E.P. Framework

When asked a surprise question, don't start with details. Start with the Point.

P - Point ចំណុចសំខាន់
Give your direct answer immediately. (Yes/No/Status).
"I believe hybrid work is the future."
R - Reason ហេតុផល
Explain *why* you think that.
"The reason is that it balances productivity with well-being."
E - Example ឧទាហរណ៍
Give evidence or a quick story.
"For example, our team output increased 20% when we worked from home."
P - Point សន្និដ្ឋាន
Restate your main point to close confidently.
"That is why I support the hybrid model."

Stalling Tactics

The "Buy Time" Phrase
"That's a very interesting question. Let me consider the best way to approach that..." (Gives you 3 seconds to think).

Identify the Step

Question: "Do you like the new office?"

"Specifically, the natural light makes it much easier to focus in the afternoons."
