Visual Aids & Slides

In public speaking, visuals should support your words, not replace them. Let's learn how to present like a pro!

Always be prepared! Have a backup copy of your slides, or even print out the key charts on paper for your audience. Most importantly, practice enough so you can explain your ideas clearly *without* the visuals! emoji_objects

It really depends on your audience and the topic! For a casual classroom presentation, a funny meme might grab attention. But if you are presenting to serious business clients, stick to professional charts and high-quality images. work

Never! Stand to the side of the screen. You can quickly glance back at the slide to orient yourself, but always turn your body and face back to the audience before you start speaking. visibility
