Lesson 17: Possessive Adjectives
We have learned how to use pronouns like 'I', 'you', 'he', and 'she'. Today, we will learn how to show that something belongs to1 a person.
We use special words called Possessive Adjectives2. These words always come before a noun. They answer the question "Whose?".
From Pronoun to Possessive
Each subject pronoun has a matching possessive adjective. This table shows the connection.

my (belongs to I / me)

- His name is Narin.
her (belongs to she / a woman)
- She works at a hotel. Her job is very busy.
- I like her dress. It is a beautiful color.
