Protecting yourself from online threats.

Staying Safe Online

In the modern workplace, one of the most important skills is knowing how to talk about computer security. If you receive a strange email or your computer acts weird, you need to explain the problem to IT Support clearly.

When listening to IT professionals, pay attention to key warning words. They will often tell you to not click on suspicious links to avoid malware (bad software). They will also ask if you have safety features turned on, like 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).
