Lesson 32: Urgent Alert (Safety Warning)

🚨 Safety Lab
Scanning

Safety & Emergencies

Scanning for danger and following critical instructions.

Lesson Goal: Learn to identify dangers, warnings, and safety instructions quickly in emergency situations.

Reacting to Warnings

In an emergency, you don't have time to read every single word slowly. You must use scanning to find the most important information immediately.

Whether it is a loud alert on your mobile phone, a bright red danger sign, or a fast text message from a friend, your eyes should look for Action Verbs (like evacuate or shelter) and Specific Threats (like flood, fire, or voltage). Do not focus on polite greetings; focus on instructions.

Go to the next tab to review essential safety vocabulary, then practice scanning real warnings in the Practice tab!
