Booking a Flight

Comparing flight options and prices.

Lesson Goal: Learn to listen for specific travel details like dates, layovers, and ticket types during a booking conversation.

Listening for Travel Details

When you book a ticket or talk to a travel agent, you don't need to understand every single word of the conversation. Instead, focus on the differences between the options they give you.

Listen carefully for words that change your journey, like "direct" versus "layover". Pay close attention to numbers—specifically dates (like "July 10th") and prices (like "$800").
