Body Parts

Listening to physical instructions.

Lesson Goal: Learn how to listen for body parts and follow spoken commands.

A great way to practice listening is to connect the words you hear with physical actions. This is called TPR (Total Physical Response).

When a fitness instructor or a doctor gives you directions, you need to listen for two things: the Action Verb (like put, touch, or bend) and the Body Part (like head or shoulders).

Go to the next card to learn the anatomy vocabulary, then listen to the warm-up exercise in the Listen tab!
