"I Feel Sick"
Lesson Goal: Learn how to listen and understand when someone is describing how they feel or explaining their illness.
Talking About Health
When you are sick, or when a friend is not feeling well, it is very important to communicate clearly. If you go to a doctor or a pharmacy, you need to be able to describe your exact symptoms.
In English, we usually use the verb "have" to describe illnesses. For example, you say "I have a headache," or "I have a fever." We use the verb "feel" to describe our general state. For example, "I feel sick," or "I feel very hot."
