Giving Directions
Lesson Goal: Learn to identify key directional verbs and location nouns when someone tells you how to get somewhere.
Navigating the City
Asking for directions is easy, but understanding the answer can be difficult if the person speaks quickly!
When listening to directions, don't worry about understanding every single word. Focus your attention on two things: Action Verbs (like go, turn, stop) and Landmarks (like traffic lights, corner, bank). If you hear "turn left at the bank," you have all the information you need.
Go to the next card to review essential navigation vocabulary, then listen to the audio in the Listen tab!
