Great question! "The Economy" (សេដ្ឋកិច្ច) is the actual system of money and trade in a country (e.g., Cambodia's economy is growing). "Economics" (សេដ្ឋកិច្ចវិទ្យា) is the academic subject you study at university. 📊🎓

When we talk about economics, "Demand" is usually an uncountable noun (e.g., "There is high demand for coffee"). We do not say "demands" in this context! ☕

When interest rates go up, borrowing money from the bank (like for a house or car) becomes more expensive. However, keeping money in a savings account will earn you more money! 🏦💵
