Usage Note: Asking About Someone's Job
To ask about someone's job, we **do not** usually say, "What is your job?". It is not natural.
The most common and polite question is: "What do you do?"
To answer, you can say: "I am a [Job Title]."
- "What do you do?" ➞ "I am a teacher."
- "What does she do?" ➞ "She is a doctor."
